Not Going Without You

What could be better?
If I had to pick between laying next to you,
Making love or just kissing,
[And] the burly gates preachers speak of,
I would pick kissing the back of your neck,
While you hide under the covers,
On a cold winter day,

Some days we smile,
Some days we argue,
Some days we laugh,
Some days we fight,

Past arguments take the backseat,
As we stare into each other’s soul,
Carving our names into each other’s ribs,

Laughing together at the stupidest things,
Imagining getting old and sitting in handicap seats,

Riding cowgirl in the driver seat,
Mugshot picture taken together,
Pinned to the bedroom mirror,

What could be better?
If I had to pick between laying next to you,
Making love or just kissing,
[And] the burly gates preachers speak of,
I would pick kissing the back of your neck,
While you hide under the covers,
On a cold winter day,

Come here and kiss me,
We will dance until our feet hurt,
Come here and I’ll kiss you,
We will walk until our feet tell us to turn back,

This isn’t dream,
I love laying next to you,
Spending all night between your thighs,

While everyone talks about Heaven,
All I wanna’ do is spend time with you,

We don’t need to follow everybody,
We just need each other,
We will runaway together,

What could be better?
If I had to pick between laying next to you,
Making love or just kissing,
[And] the burly gates preachers speak of,
I would pick kissing the back of your neck,
While you hide under the covers,
On a cold winter day,
