Who Are You To Judge?

Tell me who are the best of sinners?
Judging each other on who knows more Iyats of Quran,
Hadith do not prove how valuable you are to Allah (s.w.t),
Blood of a Muslim more precious to Allah (s.w.t) over the Kaaba’,

Wallahi,
I swear by Allah (s.w.t),
She may not cover,
But she prays as if winds do not disturb,
She prays as if her soul captured tranquility,
Her mind became a playground for Allah (s.w.t) to plant trees of mercy,
Trees of kindness,
Trees of love no matter how hard other’s strike,

Who gave you the right to question motives?
Who gave you the right to question intellect?
Who gave you the right to question beauty?

Only Allah (s.w.t) alone measures how beautiful He crafts…

She may not be modest like Aisha (ra) or Fatima (ra),
But her heart is strong like Safiyyah’s (ra),

Where do you get the right to question intention?
Where do you get the right to question Qadr (fate)?

Story of a sheikh and a Muslim barely hanging on,
Everyday this scholar critiques his fellow Muslim,
‘Why do you choose not to perform acts that Allah (s.w.t) required’,
Reply of modern tongues sprouted wings from this Muslim’s chest,
‘Who are you to judge me, go on your way’,
As time went on both died and were brought for judgment,

Allah (s.w.t) questioned this old man whose credentials did not match compassion,
Allah (s.w.t) put forth truth, ‘who gave you the right to question in my place?’
Sheikh given the road to hell-fire as his counterpart given the road to Paradise,

Allah (s.w.t) tells us,

“but give glad tidings to As‑Saabiroon (the patient),
Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: ‘Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’
They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord,
And (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones”

[2:155-157]

Who are you to judge?
What qualifications do you hold?
You walk this earth,
Wallahi…

You made mistakes Allah (s.w.t) has hidden under rocks,
His intention never to let the Ummah see what you gravely mistake as innocent,

No matter if a brother talks with girls, flirts,
Skips fast, does not wear thobe on Fridays,

No matter if a sister covers or not, wears make-up,
Wears heels or tight pants,

What degree do you hold in which you were given the right to be executioner?

Some people don’t want to associate with Muslims,
Afraid of hurting image,
Not aware that Allah (s.w.t) alone is the one we should be pleasing,
Seeking degrees,
Having one YouTube channel,
Wanting to become sheikh,

Allah (s.w.t) alone is the best questioner,
He will ask why you gave up on your fellow Muslims,
Why you skipped the hurt of the body,
When in fact proclaiming to others
If one Muslim hurts, all Muslims feel pain,
Sister you disrespected for not wearing hijab,
How will Allah (s.w.t) judge you for hurting one part of the body?

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“When Allah wills good for His slave,
He hastens the punishment for him in this world,
And when Allah wills ill for His slave,
He withholds the punishment for his sins from him,
Until he comes with all his sins on the Day of Resurrection.”

[Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2396)]
[Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani]

Who gave you the right to perform judgment before judgment day arrives?
Who gave you the right to perform actions that belong to Allah (s.w.t)?
Degrees and knowledge will not help you,
Angels finish your book of deeds,
It will be presented without prestige,
It will be presented honestly,
Eyes, ears, mouth, feet, and hands speak for you,
Times of judgment, lying, and proclaiming ‘Munafiq’ on others held against you,

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said,

“The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial.
When Allaah loves a people He tests them.
Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure,
But whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.”

[al-Tirmidhi (2396)][Ibn Maajah (4031)]
[Hasan by al-Albaani]

Sister who you ridiculed for not wearing hijab,
For taking a place in which Allah (s.w.t) destined for her to have,
She is tested because Allah (s.w.t) loves her,
Able to gain reward from a trial given,

Who gave you the right to take this trial from her?
Who gave you the right to judge if she passed this trial or not?
Not only is your knowledge weak,
Your compassion is low,
Your humility is not present,
Allah (s.w.t) has given us very little of His total mercy,

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,

“Allah has divided mercy into one hundred parts;
And He retained with Him ninety-nine parts,
And sent down to earth one part.

Through this one part creatures deal with one another with compassion,
So much so that an animal lifts its hoof over its young lest it should hurt it”.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Who gave you the right to judge if Allah (s.w.t) uses the one part of a hundredth?
Worry about your fate before you mistake another person’s paradise for yours,
Living in a world so strange that we cannot come together based on Allah (s.w.t),

So strict that you must take away the middle ground,
So strict that you must take away the light of Allah (s.w.t),

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,

“Allah, the Exalted, and Glorious said:
`A slave committed a sin and he said:
O Allah, forgive my sin,’
Allah said: `My slave committed a sin,
And then he realized that he has a Rubb,
Who forgives the sins and punishes for the sin.’

He then again committed a sin and said:
`My Rubb, forgive my sin,’
And Allah (SWT) said: `My slave committed a sin,
And then realized that he has a Rubb Who forgives his sin,
And punishes for the sin.’

He again committed a sin and said: `My Rubb, forgive my sin,’
And Allah (SWT) said: `My slave has committed a sin,
And then realized that he has a Rubb Who forgives the sin,
Or takes (him) to account for sin.
I have granted forgiveness to my slave.
Let him do whatever he likes”.

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Who gave you the right to take away the compassion that Allah (s.w.t) ordained?
How do you know that the sister or brother you question are not who Allah (s.w.t) refers?

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,

“By the One in Whose Hand my soul is,
Were you not to commit sins,
Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins,
And then seek forgiveness from Allah;
And Allah would forgive them”.

[Muslim]
