Wallahi…I Love You

Where would I be if I didn’t have you?
Without Allah (s.w.t)?
Without brothers and sisters?
We fight, argue, back-bite…
Worthless worries we should be loving,

I am going to explain,
Why I love without meeting you
Why I correct you,
Why I remind myself,

I may be hard on you,
Judge without asking,
Intentions pure,
Wallahi…I love you,

I understand words hollow,
People told you,
‘I love you’,

Used you,
Not wanting eternal happiness,
Intention of leaving,

I am speaking to my sisters,
I am speaking to my brothers,
Day to-day interactions,
Afraid of reminding one another lovingly,

When I give advice,
Show hadith,
Proper covering,
Salat invalid or not,
Boyfriend and girlfriend,

I am not attacking your character,
Wallahi…
I wish for us to be among the righteous,
‘Close friends on that Day will be foes to one another,
Except for the righteous.
(Az-Zukhruf 43:67)

I don’t want us to be close friends,
Wishing you my enemy the death of me,
I dream of us standing next to one another,

When I remark on how long pant cuffs are,
Should be above the ankle when you pray,
Showing how to perfect Wudu,
Putting my hand gently under your chin,
Correcting your gaze,

Do not persist to take it as judgment,
Wallahi…I love you,

“Among Allah’s servants are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs,
But whom the prophets and martyrs will deem fortunate because of their high status with Allah.”
The Companions (May Allah be pleased with them All) asked,
“O Messenger of Allah! Inform us of who they are.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told them,
They are people who loved each other for Allah’s sake,
Even without being related to one another or being tied to one another by the exchange of wealth.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went on to describe their great reward on the Day of Resurrection:
“By Allah, their faces will be luminous and they will be upon light.
They will feel no fear when the people will be feeling fear,
And they will feel no grief when the people will be grieving.”
Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) read the verse:
[Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear,
Nor shall they grieve]
(Yunus 10:62)
(Abu Dawud)

My love for you cannot be expressed,
It is indescribable,
I wish to stand under the shade of Allah (s.w.t),

No matter if you are black or white,
Arab or African,
Man or woman,
5 feet or Yao Ming,
50 Kilos or gigantic,
Follow one sheikh or the other,

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates,
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
Allah will ask on the Day of Judgment:
“Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory?
Today, on a day when there is no shade but Mine,
I shall shade them with My shade.”
(Muslim)

Days of Muslimah who don’t cover disgraced,
Brothers who drink forgotten,
Do we not remember the day,
When Alcohol was consumed,
Hadith of a brother,
Leaving his bottle at the door of a Masjid?

I understand…
I am harsh,
I judge,
I am human,

When I express,
I urge correction,
Providing words from Allah (s.w.t),
Hadith from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh),

Abu Huraira (ra) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“You will not enter Paradise,
Until you believe and you will not believe until you love each other.
Shall I show you something that,
If you did, you would love each other?
Spread peace between yourselves.”

[Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim]

No matter if you are a sister struggling,
I love you,
No matter if you are a brother struggling,
I love you,

My way of showing love can be mistaken for judgment,
Wallahi…
I love you…
