Letter To Those Giving Up On Allah (s.w.t) and His Deen

Nobody knows,
What we go through on a daily basis,
Loss of life,
Affect it has on our mental state,

Narrated by ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab (ra):
Some Sabi (i.e. war prisoners, children and woman only) were brought before the Prophet,
Behold, a woman amongst them was milking her breasts to feed,
And whenever she found a child amongst the captives,
She took it over her chest and nursed it,
(she had lost her child but later she found him)
The Prophet said to us,
“Do you think that this lady can throw her son in the fire?”
We replied, “No, if she has the power not to throw it (in the fire).”
The Prophet then said,
“Allah is more merciful to His slaves than this lady to her son.”
[Sahih Bukhari]

Woman caught in war,
Held captive,
Missing son,
Worst nightmare,
Mother losing her child,
Allah (s.w.t) is more merciful to His slave,

We live in a world,
Asking how someone is doing,
Empty question,
Nobody cares,
Nobody wants to know,
Being polite,
Wishing you would lie and say your fine,

Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,
“There are three qualities whoever has them,
Will taste the sweetness of Iman:
To love Allah and His Messenger (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) more than anyone else;
To love a slave (of Allah) only for (the sake of) Allah;
And to abhor returning to infidelity after Allah has saved him from it,
As he would abhor to be thrown into the fire (of Hell)”.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Holding three qualities,
Striving for the sake of Allah (s.w.t),
No one knows,
Allah (s.w.t) knows,

Each individual sweat drop from your head,
Each strand of hair that falls,
Each scratch obtained,

Nobody knows,
Number of people we lose on a daily basis,
If were honest,

I lost my…
Mother, father, sister, and brother,
Meeting them in Jennah,
Dua every night,

Visited lands,
Yemeni and Somali children,
Felt warmth of mothers and fathers needing comfort,
Lost children due to a country starving its people,
Held bodies going limp in arms,
But I’m here,

Nobody knows,
Allah (s.w.t) knows,

On the authority of Abu Abbas,
Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them):
One day I was behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
He said: “O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]:
Be Mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you.
Be Mindful of Allah and you will find Him in front of you.

If you ask, then ask Allah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allah [alone].
And know that if the Nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything,
They would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you.
And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything,
They would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you.
The Pens have been lifted and the Pages have dried.”
[related by At-Tirmidhi, who said it is a Good and Sound Hadith]

If we are aware of Allah (s.w.t),
He is aware of us,
Through hardship no one knows,
Allah (s.w.t) loves His creation…
